چکیده

In PG(2, q3), let π be a subplane of order q that is tangent to `∞. The tangent splash of π is defined to be the set of q2 + 1 points on `∞ that lie on a line of π. This article investigates properties of the tangent splash. We show that all tangent splashes are projectively equivalent, investigate sublines contained in a tangent splash, and consider the structure of a tangent splash in the Bruck-Bose representation of PG(2, q3) in PG(6, q). We show that a tangent splash of PG(1, q3) is a GF(q)-linear set of rank 3 and size q2 + 1; this allows us to use results about linear sets from [17] to obtain properties of tangent splashes.

A three-class association scheme on the flags of a finite projective plane and a (PBIB) design defined by the incidence of the flags and the Baer subplanes in PG(2, q2)

First we define relations between the v = (s2+s+1}(s+l) flags (point-line incident pairs) of a finite projective plane of order s. Two flags a =(p,i) and b =(p' ,l'), where p and p' are two points and l and l' are two lines of the projective plane, are defined to be first associates if either p = p' or l = l'; second associates if p # p', l # l' but either p is incident also with l' or p' is in...

Effects of Non-uniform Suction, Heat Generation/Absorption and Chemical Reaction with Activation Energy on MHD Falkner-Skan Flow of Tangent Hyperbolic Nanofluid over a Stretching/Shrinking Eedge

In the present investigation, the magnetohydrodynamic Falkner-Skan flow of tangent hyperbolic nanofluids over a stretching/shrinking wedge with variable suction, internal heat generation/absorption and chemical reaction with activation energy have been scrutinized. Nanofluid model is composed of “Brownian motion’’ and “Thermophoresis’’. Transformed non-dimensional coupled non-linear equations a...

Inclined Lorentzian force effect on tangent hyperbolic radiative slip flow imbedded carbon nanotubes: lie group analysis

The present paper focuses on numerical study for an inclined magneto-hydrodynamic effect on free convection flow of a tangent hyperbolic nanofluid embedded with Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) over a stretching surface taking velocity and thermal slip into account. Two types of nanoparticles are considered for the study; they are single and multi-walled nanotubes. The presentation of single-parameter g...
